7th version of “50 Nuances de Nymphéas” which, as its name indicates, will include 50 versions of Claude Monet’s idyllic basin.

There is always a story behind a painting. The “50 Nuances de Nymphéas” series will consist of 50 versions of the magical setting of Monet’s Water Lilies, a long series which has just begun and which you are the first to see… Isabelle Delannoy likes series, the theme may be the same, but the result is always different. The idea of Water Lilies was obvious when the artist visited the exhibition Water Lilies: American Abstraction and the Last Monet in 2018. Also, the story behind the name came naturally when two of these floral paintings were selected by Nelson Coates for the film “Fifty Shades of Grey”…
