A soft and sensitive palette in search of a poetic reality…
Color is at the center of the preoccupations of the artist who works from a restricted palette made up of natural pigments, declined to the desired harmony, giving his sober and vigorous painting a very personal atmosphere. The colors are never dazzling, and rather nuances, tones, lots of earth, all the variety of ochres. Isabelle Delannoy mounts layers, alternates work in matter and glaze in search of a faded figurative art in favor of a slide towards abstraction, which gives a touch of unreality to her landscapes suffused with poetry. From the sizing of the canvas to the manufacture of pigments and mediums, the artist masters all stages of oil painting. Isabelle Delannoy’s compositions flourish at the rate of a sensitive work declined in delicate and warm harmonies which she exalts in her series telling a story, an evolution on the same subject inviting the “viewer” in a poetic reality in which the structure of the whole is essential. For her work, Isabelle Delannoy has received numerous awards, including three consecutive awards at the Salon des Artistes Français in 2005 (Madeleine Paillard award), 2006 (Marin Award) and 2007 (Bronze medal). She won the Société des Artistes du Val de Marne in 2009 and the Biennale de la Marine in 2010.
Distinctions
For her work, Isabelle Delannoy has received numerous awards
Including three consecutive prizes at the Salon des Artistes Français in 2005 (Madeleine Paillard prize), 2006 (Marin Prize) and 2007 (Bronze medal). She won the Société des Artistes du Val de Marne in 2009 and the Biennale de la Marine in 2010. She is also a member of the Taylor Foundation.
This distinction will allow her to embark on a French Navy vessel “Etoile” from Brest to London up the Thames.
She will use this trip along the water to make a sery on the Thames…

Since 2011, the artist is present on the famous International Flea Market of Paris-Saint-Ouen where her work is recognized and purchased by collectors and art lovers in Paris and Abroad but also interior designers for commissions or direct purchase.
Her works appear in numerous private and public collections in France and Abroad
2018
She is invited in China for one month and half in artist residency after which her works enter the collection of the Shangjin International Art Center, Yunxi – Hubei, China
2019
Isabelle Delannoy receives the i-CAC certification which sets a quality benchmark for art professionals and the informed public, it is an important novelty and a necessary development in the expertise of French pictorial art.
