Small Parisian series in dry pastel, the touch is light and airy and the colours are vivid, bringing dynamism and freshness to the whole. These studies inscribed in the artist’s memory books will perhaps be used for larger compositions in oil on linen canvas, such as “In Spring” and “Clocher de la Marie de Paris” which can be found in the Urban Landscapes tab.
